Short story: The Pirate

I'm a roving adventurer; a wanderer on the high seas, a slick and daring silver tongued genius with a taste for exotic women and expensive wine.

I've overcome a pirate resistance on the shores of the Caribbean, fought murderous bandits for ill gotten gold, been shot at, injured, and always managed to haul myself back up for the final battle.

I've never made a misjudgement. Grown men tremble in my presence; my dashing boots, my eyepatch, my luxurious hair, my swords.

Daddy says I should want to be a ballerina when I grow up.

This is the result of a fifteen minute writing exercise. The only constrictions were the time limit and five randomly selected words from the dictionary. Today the words were: resistance, adventurer, misjudgement, presence, and murderous.
